Ice hockey Club
No Ice! No Life!
It all started with ……WINGS!
“Ice hockey in Ehime!?” I know many of you might be thinking that, but there are people playing ice hockey in Ehime too!! It has a strong image of being a northern sport, and it is not a major sport in Ehime either, but people who like ice hockey get together to play.
Ice hockey is not often televised in Ehime, and many people have never seen ice hockey live. So, I will talk a little about the charm of ice hockey. In a word, it is powerful! That’s right. The sound of edges cutting the ice echoing around the rink! The speed of the puck! The sense of speed that can only be felt on the ice and not on land!
And above all, the body-to-body contact unique to ice hockey, which is known as “martial arts on ice”! It’s just so cool!
Currently, we have 17 players and 3 managers, for a total of 20 members, all of whom get along well with each other. We also have fun at the launch of tournaments and at social gatherings for each event.
Ehime University’s Ice hockey Club has a long history and has competed in the Intercollegiate Hockey Championships, and all members of the club practice hard every day with the goal of competing in the championships.
If you are at all interested, please feel free to come and visit us (^o^).
