The degree ceremony for The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University was held at the Faculty of Agriculture on Tuesday, 18 March 2025. Among those present were the presidents of Ehime University, Kagawa University, and Kochi University.
At the ceremony, doctoral degrees were conferred on 14 students, including five international students (Indonesia, China, Nepal, and Myanmar).
After the degree certificates and commemorative medals were presented, the president of Kochi University, UKEDA Hiroyuki, addressed the graduates:
“Creating a sustainable future demands that we always keep in mind the delicate balance between technology and ethics, and pursue research and innovation that earns society’s trust. I have high hopes that you will lead these efforts, and I wholeheartedly wish that your knowledge and expertise will enrich lives and be passed on to the generations to come.”
Although the weather forecast for the day of the ceremony had indicated the possibility of rain, the skies remained clear until every joyful smile was captured on camera, as if nature itself were celebrating the students embarking on their new journeys across the world. To all graduating students, we wish you great success in your future endeavors.
